Camper Renovation
Things have been a bit quiet here on the blog; however, our winter has been anything but!
My husband fulfilled my lifelong dream of owning a camper the day we purchased our very own motorhome. #lifegoals. I have literally wanted one of these as long as I can remember, and I'm excited to share some before and after photos of the renovation of our little house on wheels.
And props to Chris who completed about 90% of the work!
This was the day we purchased this bad boy. I was a bit excited to say the least.
Although the camper didn't need anything done to it, we are project people. So of course, we ripped it all apart.
Now to the before and afters:
The living area: We replaced the floors, painted the wood cabinets, and reupholstered the window treatments. We removed the dinette and replaced it with an electric fireplace which also serves as a great space heater for the winter months! We left the recliners in tact for now...
The Kitchen: We replaced the countertops, painted the cabinets and added the backsplash (my favorite part of the whole renovation).
The bedroom: We painted the walls and cabinets, reupholstered the fabric, and furnished the room. That wall paper border was tricky but necessary to remove!
The bathroom: Obviously that wall paper border had to go. A fresh coat of paint (everywhere) cleaned this place up!
Our girls are very excited for their first trip. If you have any suggestions of places to see, we'd love to hear them!
