Friends on Film

I am incredibly blessed with a wonderful group of girlfriends. We have fun together, we support each other, we attend church and do Bible study together. Last week one of these dearest friends got married. The rest of the group spent the morning getting glammed up at Blo Dry Bar (A really fun spot in the East Village -- you must check this place out) and decided to play around with my new (but actually very old) Mamiya 645 medium format film camera. This camera is from the 70s and it is teaching me more about photography than ever before, i.e. patience and that film is expensive... more on that later. 

We played around with the camera at several spots downtown & I am just loving this look. Better yet: these ladies are just as beautiful on the inside!
